Free Weekly Community Lunches are a member funded community outreach program. Each week a designated ministry at Rising Star will meet Wednesday mornings at 11 am to prepare lunches for the community. These healthy lunches consist of an appetizing cold cut sandwich with condiments, accompanied by chips, a dessert and fresh fruit or vegetable when available. All lunches are served with a water bottle. Lunches will be distributed to all those who need a lunch on a first come first served basis while supplies are available. The lunches are handed out between 12 pm noon and 1 pm. Helping hands and donations are always welcome. If you are available please come out at 11 am on Wednesdays to help prepare the lunches and set up. Whether you need a meal or just want to help we hope to see you Wednesday!
