Rising Star is a bible teaching, bible preaching, family oriented church. This church is lead by the visionary Pastor B.T. Lewis and has been serving its community for over 35 years.
Our Faith
The Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is God’s revelation of Himself to man. It is a perfect treasure of divine instruction. It has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth.
Our History
Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church was founded by Pastor B.T. Lewis Sr. on April 20, 1979 in Fresno, CA. Now lead by his son, for over 35 years Rising Star has faithfully served its community.
What We Do?
At Rising Star, we engage in domestic and foreign mission. From local outreach such as Night Walks to foreign mission trips to Haiti and Jamaica, we truly are a missionary baptist church.
