Statement Of Faith

I. The Scriptures - We believe that the Holy Bible is the divine, infallible word of God by which we live in relationship with Him. (2 Timothy 3:16)

II. God - We believe that there is only one true and living God who engages humanity as our Father, His Son, and Holy Spirit. (I Corinthians 8:6; Matthew 3:16; Galatians 4:4-6)

A. God the Father - We believe that God is the Father of all things and that He intimately governs and cares for His universe, which belongs to Him by virtue of His creative authority. God is all powerful, all knowing, and ever present. We become His children through our faith in Jesus Christ. One God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all (Ephesians 4:6). How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! (1 John 3:1)

B. God the Son - We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God who was born into humanity to die on the cross for the sins of the world and was resurrected on the third day with all power in heaven and in earth. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)

C. God the Holy Spirit - We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of God, holy and divine who:

• Regenerates the believer (Titus 3:5-6; John 3:5-6)

• Adopts/baptizes the believer into the family of God (1 Cor. 12:13)

• Indwells the believer (Romans 8:9; 1 Cor. 6:19)

• Seals the believer (Ephesians 1:13; Ephesians 4:30)

• Fills/controls the believer daily (Acts 7:55; 13:52)

III. Man - We believe that humanity was created by God in His own image and having been breathed into with the breath of life, we became living souls pinnacle. (Genesis 1:26; 2:7)

IV. Salvation - We believe that Salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ is necessary to redeem those separated from God by sin. (Romans 5:8-9)

V. The Church - We believe that the church is the body of our Lord Jesus Christ comprised of baptized believers bonded by faith and connected through fellowship. (1 Corinthians 12:13)

VI. The Lord’s Day - We believe that the first day of the week is the Lord’s Day, a day of celebratory worship and instruction in remembrance of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. (Acts 20:7; 1 Corinthians 16:1-2; Revelations 1:10-11; Matthew 28:1-8)

VII. The Kingdom - We believe that this world will not last forever and that our Creator will create new heaven and a new earth. (Isaiah 65:17; Revelations 21:1)

VIII. Last Things - We believe the promise that Jesus Christ will return; the dead will be raised; and that Christ will judge all men in righteousness. (Titus 2:13; 1 Corinthians 15:52) We believe that those who die in relationship with Christ will be resurrected into their glorified bodies, receive their reward, and spend eternity in the presence of the Lord. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17) We believe that God is the source of all blessings and that everything belongs to Him. (Psalm 24:1-5)

IX. Evangelism and Missions - We believe that it is our responsibility as followers of Christ to actively engage in evangelism and mission work in our local communities and abroad. (Matthew 28: 18-20) We believe that God has commended us to be responsible caretakers of what He has entrusted to us and that we are obligated to serve Him with our time, talents, and our material possessions. (Luke 12:42-44)

X. Stewardship - We are expected to give cheerfully, consistently, and generously according to scripture for the advancement of God’s Church and the kingdom work on earth. (Malachi 3:20; 1 Corinthians 16:2; 2 Corinthians 9: 6-8)
