Our History

Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church was founded by Pastor B.T. Lewis Sr. on April 20, 1979 in Fresno, CA. Now lead by his son, for over 35 years Rising Star has faithfully served its community.

Rising Star is a bible teaching, bible preaching, family oriented church. This church is lead by the visionary Pastor B.T. Lewis and has been serving its community for over 35 years.

What We Do?

At Rising Star, we engage in domestic and foreign mission. From local outreach such as Night Walks to foreign mission trips to Haiti and Jamaica, we truly are a missionary baptist church.

Here at Rising Star we have something for everyone! This includes our youth; teens, tweens and toddlers alike. Introduce your children to Christ early.
